Yahoo hacked...2 years later we learn about it

If you have a Yahoo account, make sure you change your password and get rid of any information that's important even though it's been 2 years since the hack and who knows what information is leaked by now. 2 years? Why so long to tell anyone?

The problem with Yahoo is the sheer numbers of people who have set up something like e mail and they never allow anything to be deleted

I have Yahoo email and delete my email regularly. I don't really understand your post. What do you mean they never allow anything to be deleted?

I mean your account not your e mail. When I first went online I had one and 10 years later it is still there even though I dont ever use it

I'm not sure how a Yahoo account can be deleted but the media is encouraging people to delete their old Yahoo accounts instead of letting them be inactive.
