My dog hated when we walked into the vet's office! She knew she'd be getting a shot and it hurt. She would refuse to walk into the room even and I'd have to pick her up.

Our 2 cats hate it. From the moment the carrier comes out until they get back home. Letting us know the whole time they do not approve. Our dog is fine until we get out of the car and she starts shaking. Once inside, she is fine,

Animals, especially dogs, know when something is up and not what they want. They just have that sense. They can tell by your body movements, your voice, that something is different.

And some dogs are especially keen to that. Especially perceptive. I had one like that once. It was though he could read your mind. And he could by his observation of you.

Dang good dog.
