Do you place your cups, mugs and glasses upright or upside down in the cupboard? And why?

Since not long straight up, cause I thought the cupboard wasn't clean enough, but now I cleaned it and they're still up. Normally I always put em upside down to not catch dust. I don't think it matters anyway. They never have time to catch dust. I put other stuff there too, food, bread, not much room. Straight up is cleaner I think.

We turn ours upside down and that's for a couple reasons. One is so that they don't get dusty and the second is in case there is still a little water left over from the dishwasher, it will go onto the shelf liner and not pool inside.

We store them upright. The ones we use the most aren't there long enough to gather dust, and if it's something we haven't used for long enough that it does get dusty (which takes a while, in a closed cupboard) we wash them before using them anyway.

The only times that happens are when we've got larger groups of friends round and roll out the lesser used glassware.
