My workouts are supposed to be getting easier but this one was really hard and maybe it's because I didn't want to put down my 5 pound weights:

I didn't like the constant ads interrupting this workout so I only did 2 miles of the 3:

Then I switched to this 1 mile workout but I didn't like the twisting of the knees:

Oh wow. With 5 pound weights I could only do 2 rounds of this! My arms can't take it yet to complete round 3.

My daughter and I did a 3 mile hike out on the trails since it was in the mid 50s F outside!! It was a mushy mess on the trail though so we couldn't do the full 4.2 miles we usually do. My ankles were hurting from all the twisting in the mud and melted snow.

I'm so proud of myself! I was able to complete all 3 rounds this time using my 5lb weights for the dumbbell portions!

My ankle is hurting from walking through the mud Friday. Not sure if this will be the only workout today:

I did 3 videos yesterday (totaling 5 miles of indoor walking) but can't post them because of my connection right now. Today I did a 3 mile indoor walking video that I've posted on here before.

Yes, just keep moving and your body will reap the rewards. I try to make sure I get 10,000 to 15,000 steps daily whether it's just walking around my house or doing hard cardio plus walking. Even standing in place and walking will benefit you :)

Once my building project is reaching its end game I'm going to look at getting a treadmill. In the really hot summers and cold winters it's easy to end up not taking much exercise and it doesn't take long before my waistline reminds me of that. I just need to find a space that isn't going to be filled with dust regularly, and won't need stuff moved out of the way regularly. The last thing I want is something big and bulky that I have to keep moving so I can work around it.

Your WalMart must be really busy! Where I live it's really busy on weekends but most days it's not really that bad...we have a lot of Amish who shop there.

Our old treadmill needed a belt and I couldn't get the thing removed to try to replace it (it wasn't meant to be replaced really) so last summer we finally got rid of it. It had a nice wide bridge so that you don't stumble when you walk and a good choice of inclines. It's just that we didn't use it much because of that belt and so we shouldn't have even moved it here 5 years ago. What a waste.

Have you tried out some treadmills to see if you like them? I really hate walking on them and running hurts.

Years ago I went to a gym and walked on a treadmill a lot. I'd rather be walking in the woods but when everything is covered in snow it's not such a good idea and when the temperatures run north of 100 it's a struggle to physically carry enough water for a decent hike. The key thing is finding a way to keep cool in the summer - I have a stationary bicycle as well but haven't used it in ages because it's tucked out of the way, and being out of the way means there's not much air circulation. On a real bike the harder you push it the more wind resistance you face, which helps keep you cool. On a stationary bike the same power gets you a higher notional speed because the air resistance isn't there, but it also means you get very hot very fast, which isn't much fun.
