Some thoughts....

;
1. His "god" is WAY too small..... Our God is big enough to be very engaged in the Earth (even if it's only one of trillions of such planets). A small 'god' wouldn't have the time or ability - and that seems to be his concept of God. Kind of reminds me of a kindergardener asking "how can God hear all our prayers at once?" Well, a small god can't. But "small" and "God" are contradictions.

2. While there should be a healthy skepticism... while we should not be gullible fools.... skepticism itself has no bounds; tultimately we MUST doubt that we can think, doubt everything we hold (including that things could be wrong), doubt that we even exist. Skepticism tells us we could be living on Mercury and plugged into a computer running an entertainment program. Skepticism means being skeptic of skepticism.

3. Is this guy a scientist? What is his Ph.D. in? As one with a Ph.D. in Physics, it always amazes me how some scientists think they THEREFORE are experts in Religion but laugh when some theologians think they THEREFORE are experts in science. Sometimes the inconsistency is laughable; Jesus' "log/speck" thing often comes to mind. And Science is FULL of assumptions, FULL of articles of faith that no one has proven to be true (or even tries to). I don't know what makes him more credible than.... you. Maybe less so, LOL

Blessings on your Easter season...

Josiah
